Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and monitoring during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using advanced life support protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
- Lead patient education for overnight care procedures
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs ensuring quality care standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact state)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- 1+ years acute care hospital experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Demonstrated critical thinking in emergency scenarios
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions
