Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Mentor new nurses and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Advocate for patient needs and ensure comfort during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Registered Nurse license (RN)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
