Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate effectively with the night shift team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient records accurately, timely, and in compliance with facility policies.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all patients in the unit.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and code blue activations.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (BSN preferred; ASN accepted).
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred for high-acuity units.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
