Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with rapid intervention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure infection control standards are rigorously maintained
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or critical care experience
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions
