Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during night shift hours in ICU/ER units
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care plans
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Provide patient education and family support during night hours
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing
- 2+ years of clinical experience in acute care settings
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environments
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
