Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across diverse medical units during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to emergency situations
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) following HIPAA compliance standards
- Lead patient education initiatives for overnight care protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety audits
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure overnight environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
