Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and alert physicians to any changes in clinical condition.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and timely.
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, especially in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
