Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care during overnight hours in our emergency department
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using advanced clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Respond effectively to critical situations and emergency codes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Precept new nurses and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania RN license (or compact license with PA endorsement)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure night shift environment
