Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ICU/Step-Down units during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for continuity of care
- Document patient assessments and care plans accurately
- Mentor new nurses and uphold quality standards
- Participate in unit performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license (or compact license)
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- 1+ years acute care experience required
- BLS/ACLS certifications maintained
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Night shift availability essential
