Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and care plans during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision documentation
- Respond to emergency situations using advanced life support protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records per regulatory standards
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans and discharge protocols
- Lead rapid response team activations when critical situations arise
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (night shift preferred)
- Proficient in EPIC EMR and telehealth monitoring systems
- Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-shift handoffs
- Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions independently
