Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in Epic EHR
- Maintain patient safety through vigilant monitoring and rapid response protocols
- Lead code blue resuscitation and trauma activations
- Mentor new nurses and maintain unit readiness during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Active NC RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- 1+ years acute care experience (ER, ICU, or Med-Surg preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
