Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency, ICU, and medical-surgical units during night shifts
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical events
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and hospital protocols
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants while ensuring quality care standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico
- BSN degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
