Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care assessment and intervention for patients overnight
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations
- Mentor new staff and uphold quality standards during night shifts
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience in acute care
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
