Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Perform comprehensive health assessments and monitor patient conditions throughout the night shift.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to patient emergencies and critical changes in status.
- Education: Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
Qualifications
- License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Mexico.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and clinical assessment skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
