Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health status by conducting thorough physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions throughout the night shift, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (Med-Surg, Telemetry, or ICU preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
