Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes or medical emergencies.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health management.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in an acute care or hospital setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team during night shifts.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and hospital protocols.
