Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical incidents.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, with Critical Care or Medical-Surgical background.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CEN preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning night shift team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
