Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and alert physicians to any changes in condition.
- Provide patient and family education regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care across shifts.
- Document patient care services accurately and timely in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
