Your Role
As a Registered Nurse on our Night Shift team, you will be the first line of defense in patient safety and care. You will work in a collaborative environment with experienced professionals dedicated to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient status closely to detect any changes or emergencies.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions and continuity of care.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during night hours.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN License to practice in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (new graduates with strong clinical rotations will be considered).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
