Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition immediately to the clinical team.
- Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner within electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
