Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient vitals, obtain medical histories, and record information in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Administer injections and medications according to provider orders and safety protocols.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up communications.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized clinical environment.
- Assist with laboratory specimens and point-of-care testing as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays with high energy and professionalism.
- High school diploma or GED required.
