Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care during night shift hours.
- Monitor patient vitals and report any significant changes to the on-call physician or charge nurse.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and progress notes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license in the state of Indiana.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
