Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and resident conditions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene
- Administer medications under nurse supervision and document accurately
- Report changes in resident condition promptly to nursing staff
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for coordinated services
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience preferred
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly populations
- Attention to detail with accurate documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Background check and drug screening required
