Your Role:
As a Night Shift Registered Nurse, you will be the first line of defense for our patients. You will assess patient needs, administer medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care throughout the night.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, alerting the team to any changes in status.
- Document patient care activities, interventions, and responses accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and ongoing health management.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred based on unit specialty.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, new graduates with a BSN are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, fast-paced environment.
