Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Document patient care accurately, timely, and completely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team during night shifts.
