Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or medical-surgical setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently during night shifts.
