Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications according to established protocols.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and update care plans to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and patient education to families and individuals.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and alarm activations.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work night shifts and maintain high energy levels.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient safety standards.
