Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care to residents in a medical facility.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Support patients with mobility issues using assistive devices and transfer techniques.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
- Document patient care and observations accurately in medical records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Minnesota CNA License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Previous experience as a CNA or Nursing Assistant preferred.
- Strong compassion, patience, and empathy for patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
