Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient observations, interventions, and responses accurately and timely.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and initiate appropriate life-saving measures.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or critical care setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
