Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously, identifying critical changes and responding immediately to emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during their stay.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities and clinical observations.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Missouri.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Med-Surg or ICU experience a plus).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
