Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate the condition of patients assigned to the unit during the night shift.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and critical care situations with composure and precision.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington (WA).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
