Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients during night shifts, prioritizing critical assessments and interventions
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient observations, treatments, and progress in electronic health records with precision
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and rapid response activations
- Mentor new staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in hospital setting
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
