Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units during night shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient vitals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and treatment outcomes using EMR systems
- Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and rapid intervention
- Mentor junior nursing staff and uphold clinical best practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS/ACLS certification required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of acute care night shift experience
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and critical decision-making skills
