Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under clinical supervision with mentorship from senior RNs
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and document patient records accurately
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (graduating within 6 months accepted)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Committed to pursuing specialty certifications within 2 years
