Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and report significant changes to the charge nurse or provider immediately.
- Document all patient care activities, interventions, and responses accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
- Respond promptly to code blue emergencies and acute patient situations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Diploma).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and a strong desire to learn.
