Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Health: Observe and record patient symptoms, reactions, and progress, reporting changes to the nursing staff or physician immediately.
- Administer Care: Provide basic bedside care, including assisting with bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
- Medication Management: Assist in the preparation and administration of medications under supervision, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Document Care: Accurately record patient information, vital signs, and care provided in electronic health records (EHR).
- Support Procedures: Assist physicians and nursing staff with medical procedures and examinations, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic care.
Qualifications
- Education: Must possess a current State Board of Nursing license. A Nursing Degree, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience: No prior clinical experience required. We are looking for enthusiastic graduates and new graduates ready to learn.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records.
