Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through history taking, physical examinations, and analysis of diagnostic data.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and medical orders.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and legal standards.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition with appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
