Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the nursing supervisor or physician.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding disease processes, medications, and home care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a valid RN License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
