Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop optimal patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patient care.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and medical emergencies within scope of practice.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
