As a Remote Registered Nurse at MedCore, you will be the first line of defense for patient well-being, utilizing cutting-edge telehealth technology to provide exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Remote Patient Assessments: Utilize secure video and phone consultations to evaluate patient symptoms and provide immediate triage guidance.
- Document Patient Care: Accurately record patient history, vitals, and treatment plans in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems in real-time.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Communicate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and case managers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Medication Management: Review medication lists and educate patients on proper usage, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
- Patient Education & Support: Empower patients to manage their chronic conditions through personalized health education and wellness coaching.
- Emergency Triage: Utilize critical thinking skills to identify urgent medical needs and facilitate appropriate referrals or emergency services when necessary.
Qualifications
- Active RN License: Must hold a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Entry-Level Friendly: No prior experience required; we value passion, aptitude, and willingness to learn.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using technology, including video conferencing software and electronic health record platforms.
