Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care techniques
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and all healthcare regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinical environments
- Commitment to patient-centered care principles
- No prior nursing experience required – recent graduates welcome
