Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assess patient needs, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and implement care plans under the supervision of physicians.
- Clinical Excellence: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient recovery and comfort.
- Documentation: Accurately and timely document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to code blue alerts and emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required; PALS preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred; new graduates with excellent clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment abilities, proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), and proficiency in IV therapy.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced, team-oriented environment.
