Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes or deteriorations immediately.
- Document patient care accurately and timely using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Texas Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Med-Surg or Telemetry background a plus).
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment and work flexible shifts.
