Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist physicians during procedures, exams, and minor surgeries.
- Draw blood and collect specimens for laboratory testing accurately.
- Administer medications and injections under strict physician supervision.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with precision.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure strict infection control protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR/EHR software.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
