Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans on an ongoing basis.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed practitioners.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and health status continuously and report any changes immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document all patient encounters, assessments, and care provided accurately and timely.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
