Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, escalating concerns immediately to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities, assessments, and responses to interventions accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic care.
- Provide patient and family education to promote understanding of diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as required by the role.
