Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and respond immediately to changes in clinical status or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to strict hospital policies and procedures.
