Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in clinical status.
- Document patient care activities, outcomes, and observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient continuity.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, though new graduates may be considered.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- ACLS certification preferred for high-acuity settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
