Your Role:
As a CNA, you will be the heart of our care facility. You will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and ensure our residents feel safe, respected, and valued.
Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Hygiene & Nutrition: Ensure residents are fed properly, assist with mobility, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communication: Communicate changes in patient condition or mood to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Documentation: Accurately complete nursing documentation and incident reports as required by facility policy.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations following facility protocols and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current, unencumbered New Mexico CNA license.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care or acute care setting is preferred but not required.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to show empathy, patience, and respect for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
