Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist licensed nurses with medication administration and treatment procedures.
- Respond immediately to patient requests and emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents and staff.
- Document patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the nursing team.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Texas CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a hospital, LTC, or home health setting is preferred.
